Privacy Notice for Job Applicants

This notice is for candidates who fill in the job application form on our website or apply to us as caregivers. Applying and being matched is free of charge for candidates. Türkçe oku
1. Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by the data controller below under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Bakıcımız is the brand name of this company.

2. Personal Data We Process
- Identity: full name, date of birth, gender, nationality
- Contact: phone number, city and district
- Family and private life (optional): marital status, ages of your children if any — only to match you with families' working conditions (e.g. live-in work); these fields are not mandatory
- Professional: desired position, work type, education level, courses and experience
- Work preferences: smoking, being comfortable with pets, any restriction on live-in or out-of-town work
- Audio-visual record: your introduction video — recorded only with your separate written explicit consent
- Special category data: health report and criminal record — requested separately during the process only where legislation requires it (e.g. work permit applications) or with your explicit consent; not collected through the web form
- Source information: the page where you filled in the form, the name of the referring site, campaign parameters
3. How We Collect Data
We collect your data through the job application form on our website (electronically), WhatsApp, phone, email, and in-person or online interviews.
4. Purposes and Legal Grounds

5. Recipients and Transfers Abroad
To run this website and our service, your data is processed by the service providers (data processors) below. Some of them store or process data outside Türkiye. These transfers rely on the standard contracts announced by the Personal Data Protection Board, signed with each provider and notified to the Board (KVKK Art. 9).

Apart from these providers, your data is shared only with public authorities where required by law. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
During recruitment your profile is shared only with families in Türkiye who are considering working with you. For permit procedures, information required by law is transferred to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Presidency of Migration Management.
6. Retention Period
Your application is kept for up to 1 year and your introduction video for up to 1 year from the application date, and are then deleted automatically. If you withdraw consent for the video, the video and its sharing links are deleted immediately. If you are placed in a job, records of the employment relationship are kept for the periods required by law.
7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request erasure or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7,
- request that corrections, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties your data was transferred to,
- object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis of your data,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
8. How to Apply
Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can submit your request:
- in writing (wet-signed) to the address in section 1,
- from an email address you previously gave us and that is registered in our system, to info@bakicimiz.com.
Your request must include your full name, signature (for written requests), Turkish ID number or, for foreign nationals, nationality and passport number, notification address, contact details and the subject of your request. Phone calls and WhatsApp messages are not valid application channels. We respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
